Constellar is a boutique custom eLearning and digital learning studio based in Pune, India. We design and develop bespoke eLearning courses, ILT/VILT programmes, and learning experiences for global enterprise L&D teams - along with learning consulting and localization across 30+ languages. Everything we build starts from scratch. No templates.
Level 1–2 interactive WBT starts from $5,000 per finished hour of content. Level 3–4 gamified or simulation-based courses start from $20,000 per finished hour. These are starting points - actual costs depend on interactivity level, course length, media, and timeline. We provide a detailed fixed-price quote after a short discovery conversation.
Labour costs for skilled professionals are significantly lower in India than in the US or UK - a structural economic difference, not a quality difference. Our senior instructional designers have equivalent expertise to Western counterparts, as demonstrated by 60+ Brandon Hall and LearnX awards. You get that expertise at a fraction of the Western agency rate.
Fixed-price, always. You know the total cost before the project begins - no surprise invoices, no scope creep billed at the end. Any scope changes are discussed openly and quoted in writing before we proceed.
Yes. Share your budget in the discovery conversation and we will tell you honestly what is achievable within it and what trade-offs (if any) that involves. We would rather design the right course for your budget than over-promise and underdeliver.
Yes - though we call it redesigning for virtual, not converting. Simply uploading classroom slides to Zoom does not produce effective VILT. We redesign from the facilitation strategy up, restructuring sessions for virtual attention spans and adding platform-native engagement tools throughout.
Standard deliverables include a facilitator guide, participant workbook, branded slide deck, and supporting job aids. For VILT we also produce a virtual session kit - annotated slides, digital engagement plans, breakout room guides, and technical setup notes. All tailored to your specific programme.
Not always - but often yes. If you have a clear, validated brief, we can move straight to development. If you have a performance problem but no clear solution, a consulting engagement will save significantly more than it costs by preventing the wrong content from being built.
Yes. Every consulting deliverable is vendor-agnostic - you can take the strategy, TNA, or learning architecture to your internal team or another partner. Many clients engage us for consulting precisely because we have no conflict of interest in recommending the right solution.
No. Many of our best projects began with nothing more than a performance problem. We run a structured discovery session to help clarify and define the brief. Tell us what you are trying to solve - we will help you work out what to build.
Every project includes two structured feedback rounds - alpha and beta build. We ask for consolidated feedback from all stakeholders in a single document per round. Scope changes are flagged, discussed, and quoted in writing before we proceed.
