We started Constellar in 2019 because we saw a gap that frustrated us: eLearning that looked like it was built to tick a box, not to change behaviour. Generic content. Courses that cost the budget and delivered nothing. We knew there was a better way.
Our founding team brought 15+ years of combined experience designing learning for complex, regulated industries. We had worked inside large agencies. We had seen how volume thinking and template-first production compromise quality. We built Constellar to be the opposite – senior by default, consulting-first, and obsessed with the craft of instructional design.
As AI entered the L&D space, we made a deliberate choice about how to use it. AI accelerates what we do – scripting, media production, translation workflows. It does not replace how we think. Our senior designers still lead every engagement, govern every output, and make every learning decision. The result is faster delivery without the loss of depth that happens when production tools replace instructional judgment.
By 2021, we were winning at Brandon Hall and LearnX consistently. By 2023, we had delivered learning experiences for clients across 15+ industries and 15+ countries – all without growing so large that we lost what makes us different: senior expertise on every project, from brief to final file.
Our mission is simple: create learning that people actually remember, and that organisations actually see results from.
